We’re thrilled to announce that Stereoplasm has officially partnered with Ajevie, a name many of you already know from their incredible work sampling for indie perfume houses worldwide. This is something we’ve wanted to make happen for a long time and now the timing is perfect.
One of the main reasons for this partnership is that we’ll be transitioning away from in-house samples. We know some of you will miss this option, but it’s by far the most time-consuming and laborious part of order fulfillment. By outsourcing samples to Ajevie, we’ll be able to drastically reduce turnaround times and get your orders to you faster. Trying to decrease order fulfilment time has been one of my primary focuses since coming on-board and this is the biggest change we can make to have the most impact.
To keep the spirit of sampling alive, we’re introducing a new tradition: seasonal catalogue events. During these special sales, we’ll open a separate order form (that is easy to navigate, shows all of the scents in thumbnails on one page and will show scent notes once selected) with our entire catalogue available in minis (1.8 mL). You’ll be able to pick and choose as many as you like and because we’ll be preparing these in bulk, they’ll be ready to ship quickly. Minis will also be offered at a special price of $6 (33% off).
These events will take place:
- Fall
- Winter (beginning now, shipping in November) for gift shopping before the holidays
- Spring
- Summer
On the shipping front: with all the recent changes to duties, tariffs and the end of the de minimis exemption, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to adapt. We’re happy to share that from now on, all orders will ship via Canada Post/USPS, ensuring smoother and more reliable delivery. U.S. orders will show duty costs at checkout, so you won’t be surprised by any fees at the border.
Finally, Ajevie will be adding Stereoplasm samples to their website in 3–4 weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited to join the lineup of incredible indie houses already available through their shop.
A Few More Updates from the Shop:
- A note on Pre-Order vs. Ready-to-Ship: Our pre-order fragrances typically take 2–3 months. This is because we may need to either create the formula from scratch or order ingredients to complete it. In some cases, we already have the ingredients in-house and simply prepare the formula à la carte. Seasonal and ready-to-ship fragrances, however, follow our current turnaround times.
- Reviews & Early Samples: We’re developing two new programs; one for customer reviews and one for early sampling (our upcoming Venus Program). These will take a little time to roll out, as we are putting clear guidelines in place (reviews must be honest and transparent, for example), but we’re excited to share more information soon.
- Fragrance Release Pause: We’re temporarily pausing new fragrance launches so we can update the artwork on older collections and improve some formulations. This is part of our ongoing commitment to quality and artistry.
- Plasm Points Update: Our rewards program, Plasm Points, will be transitioning to an offline rewards system included directly in your orders. Any points you’ve already earned will be carried over and applied to this new system.
